Fantastic shot and I think it is sand on some eroded rocks. Anyway I love the abstraction SEPURB

Something about this really appeals to me... I love the sharp focus in the center, the out of focus blurring in the immediate foreground and background... What is it, you ask? I don't know, but I sure would love to use this as a terrain in a 3D program!! :D Awesome shot!

Seems to me sandy structures, the thumb however did make me think of limestone structures. Original work!

coral? Fantastic shot! Love this idea, it reminds me of what they do on brainiac!

just incase you four keep coming back wondering if i will ever post up what it is... it is a worn limestone brick that was used in the ruined cathedral in St Andrews. The brick is still in one of the standing walls and this shot is taken horizontally - ie the veins are horizontal. It stood out like a sore thumb so i had to take a shot :)

I love shots like this, when one really gets down in it and changes the perspective. Excellent work.
