Description

It is difficult to understand why so many of these beautiful old homes stand vacant and alone. The smell of dinner being cooked for family~gone. The sound of children playing~gone. Conversations between husband and wife~gone. Love, laughter and life~gone. Have all of the memories of the past died also? Do take good care and hope that this is a good Sunday for All. Thank you for taking your time to view and comment on this picture. HUGS!!!!

Sound of abuse and child malesting gone. Who knows...might have been evil stuff like that going on there as well. Thats actually my guess...and here follows a loooong explanation about why that is. The way i see it, had this house belonged to a loving family...then there would have been loving relatives as well that would take care of the house once the family was gone. I dont know...just my stupid theory i guess. Those houses sure are fascinating though, having all sorts of stories to tell. My house would say that it once was a gas station if it could speak...bla bla. I do belive ive rambled on for too long now. Have a grand day Claudia. #:O)

A graceful old house in the shade of these magnificent trees. I asked myself those same questions a hundred times. I haven't got the answers but to me it also looks wrong to have them deserted going into a state of disrepair. Excellent composition Claudialee.

The first thing I would do when I came across this house is look for a way in. You can really get a feel for the place walking through the rooms. Just be careful of loose floor boards. Beautiful shot. I like the trees to.

Great find of another abandoned house! Indeed, it's confusing to see houses like these left alone, they could offer so much room to a living for people. Gorgeous work, Claudia! Have a wonderful Pentecostal Sunday! :)

Interesting thoughts about this grand house. My story would be "wiccan worshippers practice there belives on a 2nd level" wish those trees would have an answer. Did you try to visit this location after dark? Very fine shot !
