Description

This is the first time I've had a *real* go at painting over my renders in a long time. I'm not 100% pleased with it, but I think I'm improving slowly. Also did a bit of playing with lights, and decided to try to make a single light be enough for the scene just to see if I could. I'm not satisfied with the lighting in the final postworked image, sadly..but I didn't really "see" that until I was finished and wasn't about to start from scratch hah! It was fun to really sit down and play a while instead of work work work LOL! I am enthralled with the skin on these most delightful characters.... What a beautiful painting work you have done! I like the lighting, the background is just dark enough to make them appear as if they are lit almost by their own essences... but they are not cast in too much darkness to be seen and appreciated. I say that you found the right balance here. Gorgeous work!
