Description

Bryce5.5 design: www.sazzart.com Hind3dS model: courtesy: www.3dcafe.com The rest of the story on this design: About this time last year; chanced to meet a gentleman from Russia, who was dating a neighbor of mine. She'd known I'm Russian-German, and explained that Mikhail had been in the Russian military's Special Forces - "Spetsnaz". So, I met him one evening, exchanging experiences, he turned out to be a nice guy, at one point he observed, "Da, it was very ironic; my unit trained to kill Americans; but where did we end up, our Viet Nam - Afghanistan." Yes, I know the terrain and catii not indigenious to Afghanistan; but I symbollicaly incorporated his original training into this. Also, elements of this design were inspired by works done by fenixcats & my swabbie friend, skilwilgee, (hadda get that in there pal, ;-0) big thanks for your inspirational designs. Keep the flame! ~SAZ~

Hi Saz, some motion blur on the Hind's rotors' would really increase the impact of the image, consider duplicating the cloud plane and dropping it down, it'll give a bit more depth to the low clouds without killing you with render time!.

My origional comment to which the right wing are replying; "Poorly executed. But that probably doesn't matter when you get your jollies from big guns and killing innocents" In the words of your hero, pixeldump, "Bring it on" your lack of understanding of the world outside your own little borders is really quite sad.

I am sorry for my cacti critisizm, Sazzart. Obviously, Mi-24s operate all over the world. So, let them green bastards grow. :-) This scene has a lot of dynamic potential, so I do believe that Sazzart could make it even better, though. And we all must feel sorry for a testosterone-challenged LAMPY and for his kind: they think that they sound smart when they spit their "ideas" (they have no ideas of their own - they get everything from their lying liberal press) about "saving children", "saving innocents", "saving whales", "saving rainforests", etc. Blah-blah-blah is all they do, and always in all the wrong places. They cannot actually DO anything, because they are a bunch of weak-minded, self-centered demagogues. Notice Lumpy's inability to answer a simple direct question: what "innocents" are you talking about? He could not put two straight thoughts together in order to form a clear answer. Or any comprehensible answer whatsoever! He just repeats his dull comment over and over and over again. They are incapable of growing their own kids the right way (their seed always turns out to be junkies and, umm, sexual-orientation-challenged), they cannot vote right, they never saved a cat in their live, but they sure like to teach others HOW to be politically correct and how to be "non-threatening, open-minded" and so on and so forth. But most importantly, LAMPY, keep your pseudo-intellectual crap to your own kind. This site is about art and expression. Normal people get bored when they have to read idiotic comments like yours.

Nice work with a very surreal touch to it.... But then again war and machines of war are very surreal in nature are they not. If im understanding your comments about neighbors friend that to is part of the surrealism of life. In the marines they theach me many things for killing but I was able to use them to help me in my art BRASS was use to lean correct way to shoot M16 but it was also very useful when taking photos. Yes they teach us one thing but life teaches us another. Excellent work its good to be back
