Description
An HDR render of my Deathspider fantasy space ship model, based on a ship from Spelljammer, a space setting for Dungeons and Dragons ;)
Can't recall where the background HDR is from, alas.

I have to say the designs aren't mine :) They are from Spelljammer, D&D setting from 10 years ago, I just built and re-designed them a bit in 3d. Spelljammer still has a community following, awesomely weird setting, hehe. I wanted to recreate beautiful designs in 3d, work out plausible internal design (which card sheets for ships didn't really make sense of internals), and boost the Spelljammer community with fresh input. If anyone has played "Baldur's Gate", Boo, the pet miniature giant space hamster...they come from Spelljammer, lol. Official website of Spelljammer http://www.spelljammer.org/
