Description

The refrigerator door was left open to warm the place up. Around midnight, a wolf passed through. Do you remember the sound of snow falling? *** Made a pawprint paintbrush in Photoshop and burned the footprints on a terrain copy and pasted from Bryce, then sent it back. Made everything here. Made a darker duplicate layer, then erased the top one where I wanted shadows nice and soft.

Superlative work. The lighting throughout the room is deftly handled. The paw prints and drifted snow are first-rate terrain work. Bravo!

Cleverly done, this is great! I love the floor and the lighting. The mood is superb, a kind of sad, empty feeling to me, as if whatever life was there went abruptly - I think the way you've positioned the chairs makes you think of who may have sat their, how they were positioned last, and so curiosity about the life of this room before. The contrasting brightness of the fridge light represents the possibility/hope of warmth amidst the impersonal cold.(sorry for my ramblings - lol:))

The wolf was disappointed. It was a vegan household. :^) You've really been cranking out the highly inspired work lately. Is your inspiration available by prescription online?

I can hear the crunch of the wolf's paws upon the snow. Great image, and for some reason this space looks very familiar to me. Great composition Dave, and yes...I can still remember snow to the point I do not yet miss it..(6yrs AS) (=

Brrrrrr! Anybody got an extra coat? Seriously, it is a very haunting, evocative piece--one of your best for my money. Really liked the idea of opening the fridge to warm the place. It' s like the end of the dream of humanity.

This person has a real problem with the concept of doors and windows. You close them! That keeps the wolfs and cold out. There are also cheaper ways to light a room. And as a kid, the sound of snow falling kept me up all night.. what a din!!! Ok.. seriously, this is fantastic Dave. Real mysterious and thought provolking. Super conception, craftsmanship and execution. Bravo from another Dave :^)

Ohh man!! This is KILLER! So odd, my long time friend just moved out of his house he was at for 15 years. Back in the day when we hung out there it was always freezing inside. I nick-named it The Meat Locker. This is pretty close to how it was..lol. Great pic.. Gonna show him this one.. he will get a kick out of it.
