I have spent many a morning, meditating in a picture very similar to this. I can feel the crisp air. Solitude can be marvelous.

It is nearly perfect like this... may be adding clarity, but it can lost atmo. Im going a try some tricks, I'll let you know.

Nita, really interesting question you have asked... By all accounts this is a great shot of the space in front of you. Sometimes, with a shot like this, it is more about contrasting elements - where there is darkness, there should also be light; where there is movement, there should also be stillness. Mist looks like a blotch of grey in a 2d image - when that mist is being pushed away by the rising sun, THAT is a superb image. A rainy day in the city shows up as a dull blob against low contrast buildings - when the sun breaks through those buildings are suddenly alive with color. Does this make any sense? I think it is a ying/yang thing. That is my observation anyway.

Mornings like this one are great for a stroll and time for reflection. I've never been bold enought to try to photograph one. Excellent capture!
