I greatly enjoy each new piece that you post. Is the grain of the picture and effect or is that the surface you are working on? Isn't it funny that we can now detect subtle differences between computer programs with our eye, yet the traditional skills are becoming unknown to us? Thank the Earth for people with your abilities! Turin - Actually, it's an aged paper that I created using tea and matches. I scanned it, and used it to age the piece a bit - along with a few other secret tweaks. ;D I'm a believer that the computer is nothing more than a tool - and that traditional methods should be used freely with it, when applicable. I often will use the raw drawing in with my digital work (i always do the drawings by hand - not on the computer). Although I do work with a wacom tablet. And I often mix programs as one would normally mix traditional media. Remember - it's just a tool! :) Thanks for the great comments! echo
