This is a really interesting first post ! as there are now three people wondering what you did to get this fine effect ? I like the composition as well !

Ok the composition is made of:two torus, one ball and one light. Textures:toruses-clays fire, ball-modificated clays fire, and light-clays fire with the intensity of 250. Is it clear now? It looks complicated but its not:)At all. If you want to ill send you a file...just send me your e-mail adress.
