Volcanic actives diminished and the volcanic gases in the atmosphere blocked out the suns warmth and with no heat the Earth was plunged into an ice age. Temperatures dropped quiet rapidly it became so cold that some of the Fire Dragons eggs that were scattered about cracked open and the Ice Dragon was born. The Ice Dragons took up residence deep down in the old lava tube of the now dormant volcanoes where some heat still existed and there they flourished. The fire gave birth to the ice and the ice gave birth to the Ice Dragon. Towards the end of the ice age a new creature walked and built upon the surface of the Earth, the Ice Elves. The Ice Elves built great castles on the old volcanoes and taped into the energy and heat deep in the volcano
