Description
This is another test render to see if I could make a glow shader that was translucent, reflective, with sub surface scatter and be a light emitter.
I think there rather cool. No lights only anything glows to light the scene.

Nice work with the mats. Could you share some more info on how you achieved that gel-like consistency?

thanks ! Anything Glows is a very usefull and powerful tool. The light source is the closest thing in Carrara to a Max VRAY light source. It renders very good scatter transmition and blend. To use make sure to set ambient to 0. No lights ( needs adjust if lights added but works too). Indirect light ON. This scene all objects have anything glows lights except sphere on right. The gell like shaders are color/value 24 ,Highlight/value 6 , shinny /value 13, reflection/value 15, transparanct/value 30 ,glow multiply/ source1 / value 56 source 2 /color(your color) , sub surface scatter , diffuse 99, translucency 10 , RI 30 , intensity 100, freshnal 0, color = darker deeper similar to glow choice. The settings are variable as always with effect you want. If you use Aura set to white and it will pick the glow color seperate on each object. More question ? In poser yes this can be done differnt route though. But for me poser is where I set up things Carrara5Pro is my choice program. Thanks again
