Description

I recently got Corel's Painter IX, and this is my first piece of work. I can't really say that I like this piece, but then again it started as a doodle. Working with the natural media brushes takes a lot of getting used to, but It is really growing on me. Working with the Oils in Painter is about as close as I can possibly imagine! I hope to do more "fine art" stuff in addition to the 3d renders. Maybe next time I'll actually sketch out the scene first... Commenst always appreciated, as well as critique

Not bad for first try. I love IX myself. Their is now an upgrade to 9.5 it is free. I got hung up in mixing color sets. Have. Practice with photos or old prints out of magazines FUN FUN FUN
