You may not know the 'jargon' yet, but you sure do know how to put together a scene! LOL! Let me congratulate you on this. When I first started using Daz studio and Poser, it took me days to figure out how to move the figures' arms! hahhaha! And here you have your character holding a prop... GOOD FOR YOU!! All the best to you, and keep it up!

Good composition, keep banging away at it and you will figure it out. The hardest part for a render to get correct is the lighting, work on that. The above is a little dark for the subject, but overall good work.

not too bad for your first attempt. The lighting (as stated earlier) takes the longest to get down and really brings out the details. It will make or break your picture easily. Also, point of view (camera placement) and points of focus are things to keep in mind. For instance in this picture, the angle is fine but I feel like the purple flower is taking too much focus away from the main image. Maybe try scaling it down or moving it a bit so it's not quite so "in your face" keep it up and you'll get the hang of it!

Wow it POOH!! I think you did very well for your first image cant wait to see others. Love the composition I do think you need to work on lighting a little bit. Believe me lighting is very tricky it will take a while till you get it right. Heck I have been doing pics for years and still have to guess the lighting at times. If you need any help you can contact me okay. Just to let you know good free characters skins for V3 are artist of Vali & mari_e17!!....Shannon ;}

Indeed for a first work it is very good. As everybody said prior me, you must give a great importance to ligts. You did a great work with characters setup. By introducing lights you will develop further your work. I like very much the concept of your scene. Keep it up :-)

Yes very good for a first work. As for lighting there is a very good tutorial by the artist 'dreamlight' available at this address. http://www.dream-lounge.com/dreamlight/home.htm His lighting tutorial is awesome. I'd also recommend viewing his gallery to see some of his works and the awesome job he does with his lighting. I use his techniques quite often. Cheers :o)
