Description

Hi there folks...well after a long break from Mojoworld due to an extremely busy last few months, I am back :) I thought I should revisit my MJT palm and put it in some basic scene. Here are 2 instances of the high detailed version - the only difference is that I added some extra parameters to make the trees look a little more wind blown/untidy. I increased the shadow resolution for this image by quite an amount to get those high detailed shadows. The trees (and grass from the MJW content) sit on a raised area created using a morph grid. Water and mojo-mats are all from scratch. Cloud is volumetric using Dmytry's plugin and I also had a go at faking some water caustics. Thanks for viewing (Website updated)

Brill scene - the only negative thing I can say is those shadows don't look correct - by rights they should be a hell of a lot lighter considering the nature of the scene and setting. Other than that - fantastic, take me there now with a 6 pack of Corona

Its always a delight to view your works Lewis & even better to see you back:) The palms are amazing work, as is the waters & sky. Angela (OnePixel) mentioned the hard shadows, but could I also add about the palm trunk seems too "straight" (especially on the right one). The frongs/leaves are awesome, truly amazing? I can only just makeout the segment bends. V Welcome back!
