Description
After 3 tries on the final render here it is. Those mountains are in the background for many increadable vistas for 100's of miles. This is one of 2 DEMs they are in. Eventually I am going to figure out how to combine 2 Dems to get the full view for some of these renders.
Evelation range runs from about 5000 feet to 13,000 feet atop the Manti la Sal Mountains. This is the Colorado side. The biggest stands of aspens I have ever seen are up there.

Cool POV, it's the surfacing that spoils it a bit...maybe it needs a softer transition between the different layers.
