When I first saw your thumbnail, I thought it would be a 2D photograph, but how wrong I was! I just can't beleive how real it looks! Nice job!

just one of your images :)... and I find the water a little irritating, too

I think that the water is that color because of the large amounts of mud and dirt in this sort of area. I saw a TV show that talked about water in the "grand canyon" I think it's what it was, and they showed the rivers at the place, and they were all this sort of color. This would discolor the water. It adds to the realism. It would look even more real if it would hit off the shores just a little bit. Great render, I like it.

In the Grand Canyon renders, a little addition of dark green plants on the relatively level surfaces would add to the realism. They look like very tiny bushes, because that is what they are. The rock is a tad less red, in my opinion, but it could depend on the time of day and lighting.

This is a beautiful image of Nankoweap Mesa and Malgosa Crest area. I've not hiked in that area of the Kaibab Plateau or any points east of Point Imperial. Dana
