Description
The Syk deal went sour sooner than he thought. Sure, the drug was worth more to other buyers, but he was more reliable than most. Just because he traded it to the local mad scientist for the really good stuff didn't mean he didn't pay the right prices. Alas and alack, some people had issues with Althea and her methods. Something about 'informed consent' and all that rot.
When the gutterpunk-dealers started shooting, Dalzig uttered a quick prayer for hir continued survival and that Althea's modifications worked as expected, before anger and adrenaline really hit hir systems. Those little snipes had a world of hurt coming down on them!
It counts as a prayer if all you had time for was a mental "Good God-!", right?
