Welcome to my little corner of he web. I suppose that since this is a Bio page, I should tell you a bit about myself. I am a 43 year old former network administrator. I became disabled a few years ago, so I have a lot of time to improve my 3D skills.
I am married to a wonderful woman named Debbie who has been there for me even when things don't go so well. I have a beautiful daughter who is ten now and is definitely a daddy's girl. (The picture is a few years old,)
I usually use either Poser 7, Carrara Pro 6 or a combination of the two for my modeling work. I also use Photoshop X to make textures and for other postwork. I really need to upgrade my system soon, but with my wife working, going to school full time, and doing medical assistant externships, We really can't afford to do it for a few years.
If there is anything else you would like to know, feel free to email me. I love to meet new people and I appreciate any constructive criticism you may have about my work as well.
Thanks for dropping by

Wow, very nice image! Looks like a nice place for R&R for the crew of one of your ships. Hell, I wouldn't mind spending some time there myself. Great job!

Love it...

Thanks, it has taken me a while to get the hang of terragen, but I think I might actually be getting fairly good with it.. It's a heck of a lot better than Mojoworld.

Striking color combination of blues, greens, and white. I have to ask about the star, though; it looks unusually white for sunset, even for sunrise, unless the star is white (Class A or f, 7000-10000 Kelvin)? But so far as the mood or ambience--two thumbs up! Are any of those lots for sale?

The scene is taken from a world in a book I am working on writing. The planet is enormous, as is it's system. The sun is a White Giant. Imagine a planet which is about 3 AU in diameter. The interaction of the gravity fields from it's 10 moons and the sun is the only reason that the gravity on the planet is safe for hominids to live on.

Awesome depth and view! You might try taking the direct sunlight reflection spread down to a very low level to avoid such a large sunspot- unless that's your personal preference. Beautiful image.

I would suggest you decrease the intensity of the brightness of the reflection on the water a bit by working with the sun's glow power and glow amount. On the far right, it appears that we see a black mass indicating that the sky size (and, perhaps the cloud altitude) should be increased. You have a fine scene going here but it needs a little more work.
