Description
Another Carrara render test done in part with a friends Poser runtime, and a character from my webcomic. The outfit is Gangster Girl (as mentioned below) and the inestimable ratracer did the lobby.
The lighting is GangsterGirl default (and was used to test how Carrara would handle that many different lights and types of light in an image)
People, if you haven't already gotten a hold of Carrara and the Transposer package...for God's sake do so. This image, with this quality would have been impossible on Poser 6 due to memory allocation problems, (I have a two gig of ram machine) and it would have taken hours to do.
With C5 it took me about a half an hour at 1024x768 with good anti-aliasing and ray tracing turned on. The image speaks for itself.

Reminds me of Catherine Zeta-Jones. Very awesome! I'd like to render this scene in C4D 9.5 just to see how the programs match up. I am thinking of buying Carrara...it seems to be a great program. Great Work! :D
