Description

Once there was a Fairy Princess who was deeply in love with her Prince Charming. They lived in different lands and waited patiently for the day they could be together. It was because wanting to be together made their hearts grow stronger and soon little wings appeared on their hearts and each night they would fly across the miles to kiss each other good night. On one of her visits Prince Charming had taught Fairy Princess something very special. Whenever she was lonely and it seemed as if it would be forever before they were together, he would said, "Picture us in your mind, and I will be there. Picture us in your mind and it will be so." One night while sitting on a broadleaf holding hands, they spoke about their favourite things. He told her that his favourite color is purple and she told him hers is blue. It was then that Prince Charming became sad. He said that he had never had a stuffed toy that he could remember. No floppy eared rabbit, no paddle footed duck. Not even a Teddy Bear! The Fairy Princess thought, "Well, that is something I will have to change, for every boy should have a Teddy Bear!" The search began for the perfect Teddy Bear. Whenever the Fairy Princess flitted about the shops she would keep her eye open for a Teddy Bear. Little ones, big ones, brown ones black ones. Some were made of cloth and some had fur. But none seemed to be the perfect bear. They didn't have that special feeling. Then one day it happened. While on vacation with her family, she saw the perfect Teddy Bear! As they were going into a restaurant for breakfast there in the vestibule was a game. It was a glass box with all kinds of stuffed toys lying on the bottom. At the top was a claw, when you put your money in you move the claw to the toy you want it to grab. You have very little time, so you have to move fast. If it grabs your toy it will bring it to a hole in the corner and drop it in. In the back was a purple teddy bear with silver sparkles! She knew right away this was the perfect teddy bear! The Fairy Princess knew she had to try this game. She put her money in and she didn't win. She tried over and over again. Her little brother came to her and asked why she looked so sad. She pointed to the teddy bear telling him how it was meant to be hers. "It's perfect, I just know it's meant to be mine!" She went on to tell him "If you see it in your mind then it will be yours!" Her little brother chuckled while rolling his eyes, reached into his pockets, took out his money and played for her. As the big silver claw came down over the teddy bear her heart thumped. As it lifted into the air it slid out from the claw. "Oh no!" cried the Fairy Princess. She gave her brother more money. Then her little sister tried but she didn't win either. As people came into the restaurant they watched the three of them play the game while they waited to be seated. Then a little girl with blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes came in. With her money in her hand she waited patiently for her turn to play the game. Fairy Princess's little brother stepped aside to let the little girl play. They moved to the other side of the room as they watched her play. As the claw slid across the top and came down over the teddy bear her heart skipped a beat. Her little brother looked at her, whispered in her ear tauntingly,
