Description

We took a walk through our local arboretum and snapped pictures like mad! 190 pictures to be exact. But don't worry, (We) narrowed it down to six for this series. The problem was that it was nearly impossible to take a bad shot, with so much natural beauty all around us! I usually limit my photo series(s) to just 3, so I hope you forgive me for the protraction. Hope you are all enjoying Summer to the max! ; ) p.s. Thanks for all the wonderful comments on Hoppy's trib!

Finally, an ebot that Digimon has uploaded something, though this one from the "marketplace" (?). Luscious shot, Eric, with glow and depth behind. You say you had to use a protractor to get the light right? F-L-E-U-R, Monsieur Jaqueau, c'est une fleur nue, pas d'une F-E-M-M-E nue (mais peut-etre une fleur nue pour une belle plante nue?)

Hey, I'm in the market for a new camera..it's either the Nikon D50 like yours ot a Canon Rebel XT. A marigold with no clothes on! Is that an example of fibonacci (spelling?) numbers in the spiral in the center of the flower. Too early on a Sunday morning for me to think. I only switched on to see my emails. I'm off for a second cup of tea. It's quite clear you nicked this plant from my garden.

The earth "remembers" the fire of the sun ....and if we find ourselves reminded as well, then plants may be the tangible result of these memories....so perhaps there is something to the idea that all of the universe is connected ...at least creatively to spiritus mundi
