For more than 20 years I have worked as a technical writer and commercial designer. My primary focus has been on print and Web design and I'm just now exploring the many incredible tools that exist to create 3D work. My main tool is Photoshop, which I've been using it for about two decades. I have also started working with Manga Studio (aka Clip Studio Paint). My main 3D tools are Strata 3D, Daz Studio and Poser. I am also published an Origins Award winning Wild West game called GUTSHOT (see www.hawgleg.com for more info). My professional portfolio is online at: www.mmitchell-media.com.

Having cut out pictures for a few friends over the years, I know what a time consuming production this can be. From the photo you had to work with you did an amazing job re-construting this portrait to get the final results. Great labor of love you did on this....Aloha!

Very patient in your work. Excellent remake. I think the loss of stripes on the shirt caught my eye but it was not the main object. Excellent work!

Youve got a good eye, amigo! The stripes were a definite problem in this image (I actually wrote about it in my description, but had to cut it for length because the new code here limits the size of the description). I did lose one or two stripes, but that was an odd shirt. They only ran along the part that buttons, and then another pair runs vertically along the outer edges of the torso (parallel to the suspenders). I considered redrawing the stripes, but decided it would take too long and, in the end, wouldnt really add anything to the final photo.
