I noticed finally as I was making some images that one of the qualities I looked for was "surprise." This image has that. The point of view is not as if carefully selected from a long roll of motor driven camera footage or even a camera on a tripod and a bulb squeeze at just the moment the section breaks ground. Rather the focus on the near ship allows the far ship to suddenly out perform and rise into the magical "surprise." I also like the big look of the propellor at low rpm and not the quizzical fan of a private plane.
