Exsquisite! The detail is wonderful! Your ability to bring one into the picture is phenominal. I would love to know the book you've illustrated this for. For if your work here is any indication of the quality of the book, I know I will be held captive until the last word!

The image of the ship and the sea is so realistic, that is perceived as a photo. An excellent sea landscape!

Sigh.......Ken, Ken, Ken......you've regressed a little.....you forgot to remove the second set of furled sails. You have rendered both sets, an accuracy no-no.... Also, you have the ship in a rough sea with all her gunports open, another mistake. And the sails that are unfurled do not appear to be made fast to the yardarms, they appear to be floating away from them....I hope you haven't turned in this render for the book yet? Needs work...sorry, but these are beginner mistakes, mate, you know better by now.....tsk, tsk, tsk.......

FitArtistSF - It is just a rework of the old image and I know about the gunports and the unfrurled sails, etc. I was interesting in the monochrome and the water work. You can count on the others being fixed before it is finalized. I quess I should have labeled it a WIP but I have enough issues just working with the new site setup ;-) Thanks ole watchful one. I am so glad you are here!
