Description

*Click the image for the full version* This new gallery shrinks images to a maximum of 700px wide. You must click on it to see the original, uncompressed view. Today is a two-for-one day! Here's a pin-up of Max. The close up lets you see the incredible detail in her face texture and shows off some of the modifications I made to the original character (Rianne). Ain't she a beauty? My regular viewers might notice that Max is a bit smaller than my Twi'lek girls. Again this is rendered in Carrara. It seems to be a nice blend between the awesome outdoor rendering capabilities of Vue and the ability to do skin as wonderfully as (or better than?)Poser. Plus I love the way Carrara does specularity. I had hoped to make a background for this, but for some reason Photoshop wouldn't take this render if I had put the transparency layer into it, so we're stuck with a black background. Oh well, it puts the attention where it belongs: on Max. :) Don't miss Max's debut image. I worked really hard on that one! It'd be a shame to skip out on it b/c it's not in the Pin up gallery. :) Thanks for looking and especially for your comments! Both images are available in hi-res on my website for registered users.

I'm glad I checked out the other image of her first, I was about to say to keep that face saved cause it looked a hell of a lot like Alba. I may just have to get my hands on this character, or at least try to make an alba myself! As for a background, for a pinup a bland/blank background works just fine. The skin tex looks great, especially the lips! Finally, I like the composite work, it works well for a pinup, and it's also a good way (at least i've found), to show more detail without going over the renderosity limits.

Awsome! Very nicely done even if she is a bit "smaller" than previous beauties. She still looks to be a force to be reckoned with. She does look alot like Aba. Great image! Yea! New series! (Just remember to throw in a Twi'lek or two just to keep the Twi'lek gods appeased.)
