Description
He is the King of his pride, this Barbary Lion which there are not left in the wild only in zoos or Wild Animal Parks. He is about 25 years old so he an old man by pride standards because they usually only live 5-8 years as the protector and leader of a pride.

Thats a great photo - all lion and quite a popular one too by the looks of him. Apparently lionesses like the darker maned lions more. Must stand out from the rest I suppose.
