Description

I'm dedicating this photo to the oustanding artist Rayburg and fellow Corvette enthusiast... This is a photo of my 1960 Corvette (owned by me since 1983) that I shot in my backyard and merged with a Vue background... The photo was taken yesterday afternoon (June 18, 2006) after taking the car out for a short spin... Final compositing was done in Paint Shop Pro ver 9... Cheers Kenmo

My friend is working on some Marc Chagall-like sketches and I said that Zora's mother was married to Chagall for a time. Oh, well! watching the Corvettes at LeMans all night long alone was my moment, I suppose. Ever since Harold Goebbel tried to sell me the 1954 Corvette he had on the showroom floor. By 1960 it was already a pretty decent car with the T-10. Racing was to be a long uphill road. Do you remember when they began putting the Oldsmobile solid rear ends in the 1963 up Stingrays to drag race and had to run in Altered class to avoid squat? Road racing was a better fit.

Wow, am I honored and jealous at the same time. Thanks for the dedi. Love the POV and the postwork. You can't go wrong taking a picture of the old vetts. Now I'm going to have dreams of my old 67 vett, that i wish I had now. Again, thanks Ken and I'm sorry I'm late posting...I've been busy with company the last few days..Enjoy your Vett...it's a great car and a big piece of American auto history.

This image is really quite excellent. And as Fuqueman says, nothing quite like this car -- the epitome of automotive cool for my generation.
