Now is the time to capture one just hatching out of fis or hers formar self. A good twig or a rock right near the water. Inches It is quite a trill to see. Love this ones color.

excellent capture! the color contrast really brings out the how beautiful this little creature is! kudo's with the shadowing as well, I am a big fan of the hard shadows cast by rocks/leaves/etc and you captured those wondefully, just a fantastic combination of photographic skill and natural beauty

Very cool -- I like the way the muted colors of the surrounding leaves and dirt make the bright colors of the damsel fly stand out.
