Description

Thank you for viewing. It is amazing how real early morning light is so different than the rest of the day. I took this image right around 6:30 AM. Sunrise was around 5:45 AM. No color enhancement and yet the water looks so blue. Boy, am I good :) Just kidding about the last part

Nah, youre not kidding. You ARE good and you should be aware of that. I totally love the composition here. That you can only see the neck of that big one. Thats brilliant. And the colors of this shot makes you wonder if you had the whitebalance set to lightbulb or something. Its sooo beautiful!!!! Have a great day. #:O)

hehe "How's the weather up there?" Poor little thing is trying to grab his Momma's attention. So sweet. Excellent image. The colours are so peaceful to the eyes and very pleasant to look at.

Zacko, u r absolutly correct about the white balance. I balance the camera in the sun if I am looking for cooler color for images shot in the shade. And the other way around when I want warmer colors in the sun. Dead on white balance is off the 18% grey card in the type of lighting I am shooting in.

ha ha, looking for some validation are we? Your images are tops in my books - so ja ... you are good. The light is gorgeous here, it really creates a mood of it's own. I can't believe that's water in the background, it's so soft, it looks like feathers in a nest! Brilliant shot!

Sublime! What really makes this image for me is the contrast between the parent's long neck and the cygnet's much shorter one, the way it is looking up at the parent, and the way you show just the parent's neck really accentuates this. A stroke of genius that was.:)
