Tried several blur and motion tricks, but nothing looked better than the original.

Haahaa.. reminds me of the old toy from the 70's. Wizzzers. I was just looking those up on ebay the other night (out of the blue). I think possibly multiple renders with each top at a slightly diff angle, then merge them on top with some trans/slight blur. it might work to look like a wobble?? Anyway.. Cool image, esp. as I was just looking into those again. :-)
