forgot to add that this is the natural color of these geese there were some orange like and redish brown all sorts: beautiful !!

We have those honkers around here and in winter they even perch on the house top. They don't land in our creek like the blue herons but use a field about 5 houses East. In the early hours seeing a flock passover is a bond with the sky just short of the stars earlier.

Very peaceful and lovely image Eve. One question however.. Is that headless, neckless goose on the right ok? I mean, from the shape of the body and non-black tail, it looks like it lost it's neck and head somewhere. Hope it finds the missing pieces soon, difficult to live without those important parts you know. Are you back home now? Best to you sweetie and keep in touch. Dave :^) P.s.
