Description

Turkey Run State Park - Indiana When you come up this canyon you either climb or turn around. We have been this route from both directions. It's a "very rugged" trail - the best kind! By the way, this is my 100th upload! Woohooo! Thanks to everyone for looking and commenting on all my stuff! Ken

Oh you lucky duck!!! I would love to come upon something like this while out strolling around. Now I can honestly say that I can say that I wouldn't be trusting them ladders to carry me safely to the bottom. This is one of those "Print & Frame" moments. Lovely!!!

Happy 100 Ken!! Wow!! Some one actually built ladders for people to use out here? How cool is that!! Love the point of view!!!

First of all, I want to say. The thumb looks like a little trellis with vines on it. But then when you look close, you see the person in the one pic, and that lets you know how big this ladder is. I so remember the day we climbed those ladders. I remember having my walking stick in hand, and handing it up to you so could finish the climb with both hands. What a day Ken, what a day. Love how you've framed them.

A lovely place! Great greeens and contrasts. I have a similar spot on a northern California beach but the ladder there is a natural one down the rocky cliff face. Almost as if Mother Nature put it there on purpose.

This is what is so much fun about TRSP! Loved those ladders; that's always what I think of when I think back on TR. In this day and age of sue, sue, sue and they still have potentially dangerous ladders for people to climb on....I love it :) We went up and down these ladders a few times just for the fun of it. Thanks for the memories!

Those ladders remind me of the open-cut mines in Bolivia with lots of cheap labourers scurrying up & down the ladders with their heavy loads of rock, etc. Well done 100 posts ! fine captures Cheers

I didn't notice the figure at first until I zoomed in. These ladders are huge! I could maybe go up but would freeze and then spend hours up there. Nice perspective in the photos.
