The pride of Queen Victoria, Warrior revolutionised warship construction. Powered by steam and sail, she was the largest and fastest ship of her day. Her most radical innovation was her citadel - an armoured box housing her guns.

Fine image of a fine ship. I believe I have an old slide of her when she first arrived in Portsmouth. I remember taking in the sights and seeing something 'not quite right' and snapping it. Close examination of the image definitely was a head scratcher. I'm sure this is the end result. Well done to all concerned. This vessel is a gem of naval revolutionary architecture... Even if those 'screw' things never catch on... Harumph!
