Just toying with an animation of a fly buy with a few explosions and enemy ships attacking the Ship.

Everybody suck it up and pull your feet up or we'll be paddling home! Nice job! Looking into the dual core thing myself. The motherboard (dual PIII iWill) went DOA on my box (so I haven't posted for a while either)...

lokiing good buddy...i LOVE the water!! that front grey section on the front of the ship just looks untextured...maybe throw a little something in the diffuse and spec channel...maybe even reflection. also, try some jitter and varriation ion the smoke...looks too perfect. Also, teh orange part is like hot fire that cools off to the smoke. maybe add some luminosity to teh orange part? maybe add some volocity to the begining smoke to to show some power. and.. maybe slap together a quick tut on those white caps for us ;-)

yeah, i pretty much seconds everything petes said, only thing i'd consider adding would be maybe some wake, tho the ship might be high enough or moving slow enough that there wouldn't be much of one... ...and definately hook us up with a tut on those white caps...some of the better waves i've seen done.

oh wow forgot all about that piece daaaa, thanks will fix and rerender it...28 hrs from now I did a render in LW_8.5 and 152hrs 32min 28seconds it was done.. big render differance between 28hrs and 152hrs... Michael

The other version of the same name was more dramatic in composition but this one is more realistic.

Very cool image, and yes, you can edit your posts. Go to your homepage thumbs and there you will see an 'Edit' option. You can edit any part, the image, or just your text or both. I think the smoke should have a more tranparent nature. It looks too solid. I love the job you did on the ocean.

Thank you, I forgot about that option, but I wish we could edit the posted comments, like some forums, Newtek Disc forum, you can edit your comments, but here you can't.....working on the smoke effect, HV's are a little faster in LW 9, not much, but getting better..
