Description

Shot taken at Ravenscar. Raven Hall was built as a country retreat for King George lll. David and I walked round these ancient walls some weeks ago, misty day but we enjoyed it. Today is for Goha and Geert who both love old stone :-) Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Hugs, Diane.

Dearest One, You must live only a few blocks away from Wondeland. Do watch out for those rabbit holes as they can really mess up your whole day. Wondefully photographed. Guess I will have to come see for myself some day. Please save some of the scenery and history for me. LOVE with HUGS and KISSES!!!!!!!

What an awesome place for a walk! I love ancient ruins too! Unfortunately, the USA has very little in the way of ancient anything, compared to Europe and other countries! D'oh! Oh well, fortunately there are alot of abandoned old places here (unfortunately a sign of poor Government, as always). Argh, I'm rambling again. Anyway, splendid photo Diane! The lighting and atmosphere creates a very interesting mood! Have a fabulous day my friend! [Huge hugs to you, "Howdy" to Sir David]

A strong place, but one of quiet beauty. The kind of place where you feel that you could just sit and watch the world go by. As this monument represents, be strong, remain, endure - joy and goodness will return in time. Grieve what is lost for now. Take one day at a time.

Oh, how I would love to roam these halls, but as Troy said, not much in the way of ancient buildings here. Wonderful shot, Diane!
