Before I break the surprise, it is a boy... there's a custom to toncture the head at the first birthday, so all hair is let grown ... I know it is a bit hard to believe but that is the truth.. :D customs of this world

Awww, this little sweetheart is absolutely adorable!!! He looks so incredibly happy, even though, from the context of the photos, it looks like his family doesn't have very much, materially speaking! You've really captured his spirit!! It's amazing how feminine he looks here..of course, my son has been mistaken for a girl before too..we had a pink dress shirt on him..it was a boy's dress shirt, but people automatically see the pink first and say girl.
