Description

I just received Photoshop CS2 not long ago. Right now I am just experimenting with it to see what it can do. There are some techniques in this image that utilize some things my Photoshop instructor taught us. This is just using brushes, filters, textures, and layers mainly.

A wonderful experiment! Love the varied colorful textures! And nice layered effect! Reminds me of my first experiments with SuperPaint decades ago..though it did not have color. Can't wait to see your progression. PhotoShop is a vastly under used, misunderstood program, capable of so much more than mere photo manipulation. I taught a basic course once, and always made a point to show how images can be created from scratch. I had my students create an eyeball! Maybe I should do a tutorial? Anyway, great first post! Welcome to Renderosity, or Osity!

a late but still hardy welcome! excellent abstract, and CS2 will be a dream for me only. $600 is a lot of money for something that psp II can do mostly
