Description
And the reason I can't believe who is coming to town this weekend is simple. Last year world famous flamenco guitarist, Paco de Lucia, gave an open air concert here. Best concert in my life. But look what local posters are advertising for this Saturday's entertainment. A guy called Jose who is apparently going to bring his horse with him and will be either on the beach at night or alternatively performing in a small bar run by a very friendly group of Columbians. Who is Jose, anyway? I can't go because Arthur, the dog, is terrified of fireworks and Saturday is when Catalans set off fireworks all day long. The only place I know where they have firework displays in broad daylight! So, I am not even going to see the strange spectacle of Jose, all the way from Columbia, with his horse. Still can't believe it. What a swizz.

Does he play the horse? Columbia, eh? Paco de Lucia is FABULOUS! One of my absolute faves! I still have an album with him and Al Dimeola and John McLaughlin called 'Passion, Grace, and Fire' which is one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. And they're trading Paco for . . . Jose?! Go figure. That does indeed call for a drink! lol! Pet Arty for me.

That would be cool! Getting a seranade from a man on horseback!! Too bad about Arthur! Our Kiska is also terified by fireworks! We try to find the quietest place and hunker-down. Though they passed a fireworks law recently, that allows any "Ya-Hoo" to own and fire-off fireworks in their backyard....grrrr.....

Sorry about the new fireworks law, I find them far more irritating than beautiful. After some serious accidents they may change the law again, but doubtful because of big dollars. Jose?? Well, the horse may be nice. LOL!! HUGS!!!!

Too bad, especially to dogs having their magnificent hearing and thus get overwhelmed by all those fireworks all too easy!
