Description

These birds look so wicked when they become adults; with their iridescent black with these perfectly round yellow eyes. This young one, I think is the first I've seen (or noticed.. funny how the world suddenly opens up when you have a camera!!!) ... doesn't have the wickedness yet...but you can kinda tell he's practicing that look! lol Anyway .. happy Friday :) Hope you all enjoy a great weekend! Great capture, techs look right on, nice pose and catch light. DOF is great. My only nit would be that the background is a little noisy (maybe because of close cropping?) NeatImage or NoiseNinja would take care of that. A USM pass would take this one right over the top. You have a winner here. Well done.

Not the most exotic bird, but sure cute. That head looks a little too big for that body, lol. Ive always had a thing for birds like these....like crows and ravens. I just think they are so cool. Dont know why. Maybe its because Hugin and Munin....bla bla. God im hungover. #:o/ Im just gonna go eat something i think. Have a wonderful sunday Shari. #:O) ...sigh...its saturday today....duh.
