Description
UF 4, Twist The Julia Set, with 2 Sine layers, 2 Two Point layers and 1 Symmetry transformation.
And a little Unsharp Mask in Photoshop 7.
At the elephant valley end of a given mandlebrot formula is a spot where the Y axis is 0. When you switch to the julia mode you have a nice symmetrical shape to work with. I love playing with them. Janet's class explained quite nicely the names of various area's of the Mandlebrot set. No name for this spot. I like to refer to them as Elephant Butts. ;-) Hope Rendo is a place that appreciates bad puns.

The most beautiful elephant butt I have ever seen! I have always liked these types of spots too...have you seen the work of Fred Sopson? You should check it out, you will see such amazing symmetry and coloring in his images that are really inspiring.
