Description

The sailboat was modeled in Rhino. The image did take a while to render, played with some of the levels in photoshop.

Your attention to the foreground detail sets this apart. Great render and lighting. Demonstrates the fresnel effect for reflectivity wonderfully. Kudos!!! VOTE (though we can't anymore ;-( )

One of the best images I have seen in a long long time!!! Difficult to distinguish this from a photograph even though I do know its CG. Lighting is so realistic and the water is so damn photorealistic. Nice caustics on side of boat. And please tell me that the sky is an alpha plane lol, coz VUE just isn't good at doing clouds, it just isn't, certainly not cliouds that convincing.
