Description

I realize that Lake George is a pretty uneventful name for such a beaurtiful lake, but that is just the way it is! Most of the lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Basin are named after people for some reason or an other in history. Usually it is because they died there, by some violent act of nature! I know, how creepy! Anyways, I went out photo hunting on my Honda, I love this time of the year, with all the scents you can smell while you are buzzing around, and with the gas prices up here being pennys from 4.00 a gallon! To much ha? Jeez! Anyways, all that aside...I love the feeling of this photo because of the two in the boat actually. I love the way that time has sort of stopped for them in this beautiful setting. The Man is so intent in the task of baiting his line, while the woman is just enjoying the beautifully breathtaking scenery. Oh! did you notice the little waterfall off to the right? I want to thank all of you who had such nice comments for my last post Cherry Bomb, I really do appreciate it!

Only $4 per gallon? Wow...id say that is pretty cheap Janice, LOL. When i went driving through Norway earlier this spring the gas was up to $7,50 per gallon here. That "little roadtrip" ended up costing me as much as two weeks in Thailand had done the year before. #:o/ Bla bla bla...where was i? Oh yes...splendid photo my friend. Now when im enjoying summer i can start to appriciate the beauty of snow again, lol. Nice to see you uploading again. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend. #:O)

Nice shot, Janice! I haven't even been up to the Lakes Basin yet this summer! Same deal, gas prices! But listen to this..... I just got back from Tehachapi and gas was MORE expensive there then Bishop!!!!! I couldn't believe it! I hope to see you around!
