Hello all!
This one has a real funny story with it. My 11 year old Alice in wonderland look alike Janel saw these two butterflys and held out her hand the twosome fluttered and hopped on and Janel was delighted and I shot this macro here. She was beeming "Arn't they pretty Mommy?" she asked.. and I responded with a laugh and Big smile , "yes They are beautiful and are infact right now making more future catipillers that will then turn into butterflys !!.. see, they are fluttering about doing a mating dance in your HAND!!" LOL! at that she looked horrified and screamed and quickly dropped the two lovers back into the bushes.. and i got an earful , "EWWWW HOW COULD you MOMmm LET THEM DO Such a thing IN MY HAND!! THATS just soo GROSS!!" ... she is still a bit freaked out by it more then even the time the baby hamster was born in her hand .. haha it makes me laugh to think of it when I see this shot so thought I would share it with you today ! :O)

Your story is very funny. I know my daughter would have reacted the same way at that age. But I'm amazed that you got such a sharp picture from a handheld subject. Very impressive and great shot!!! I've been running around after the butterflies here, but so far, no luck. I appreciate your skill!

Oh my god, this is just hilarious !!! I absolutely LOVE this story. So funny and so like a child her age. Really enjoyed reading that. It is truly a belly laugher. I cant stop laughing. LOL !!!!! OK, so I'm starting to believe it. You have something with butterflies, as with all nice animals. They like you and trust you. But then, who wouldn't? Wonderful picture!

Mmmm, shouldn't you have clicked "nudity" here? Such explicit sexual content is shocking! But seriously, looks like 3 butterflies here. Youve got 2 orange & black ones here doing the wild thing, and then theres a mysterious red & black wing behind them. Whats that one up to?? Perhaps its a butterfly orgy going on here! Whatever, great shot!
