Description
I used to love this tree in my grandpa's hacienda, I was glad it was still there. I used to sit and read for hours under its shadow with a cold glass of maracuya ( Passion Fruit ) Here I discovered the joy of reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Miguel Angel Asturias.
Photographed in Valle del Cauca, via al Mar, Colombia.
I would love to hear your comments.

looks like a great climbing tree....super image

Hey amigo, beautiful mood shot! I love that kind of stuff, with the branches and roots and all. Stark light and shadow effect, just great! I bet the Headless Horseman comes charging out of that hole in the tree on his steed every night. Either that or it's a passageway for trolls. Incidentally, I have several photos of weird and unusual trees that I'll be posting on Renderosity as the days and weeks go by.

Looks like the perfect place to read and rest. The "Spirit" of the old tree is standing guard. Excellent capture.
