...Hello all of my friends... "You just have to love what you do, and do it obsessionally, and then maybe in a decade or so you'll notice you're getting better than you used to be. they can be very hard to sneak up on sometimes but patience wins out. he is one huge butty and here locally we have one very similar but much smaller -called buckeye. I had to use my telephoto before I could get a decent shot. they fly at the slightest noise. impressive work

WOW!!! That sure is an amazing close-up of a butterfly. And it sure looks huge too. The butterflies i see here usually dont get bigger than 1 inch...so theyre quite hard to spot first of all. Then usually right before im about to shoot them, my dog chases them off...sigh. Beautiful capture indeed Joe. Well worth the 3 hours i imagine. Have a great sunday. #:O)

When you love someone so deeply They become your life It's easy to succumb To overwhelming fears inside Blindly I imagined I could keep you under glass Now I understand to hold you I must open up my hands And watch you rise Spread your wings and prepare to fly For you have become a butterfly Oh, fly abandonedly into the sun If you should return to me We truly were meant to be So spread you wings and fly Butterfly........ Good day and kissss ;)

3 hours!!! now that is patience and dedication... Wonderful shot, maybe too much shine and not enough light on the butty for me - but i don't expect you to reach up and move the sun! There is a fantastic charm and detail in your shot, love the richnedd of the green!
