Description

The Klingons and the Romulans going at it TOS style. The Klingon is from STMC.com. The Romulan was the reason for the Pic. It started out as a Lightwave group model, but the texture maps wouldn't go on right. So I used Poseray and converted it to Poser , re-mapped it and salvaged the texture maps. That part turned out okay- especially since it's the first time I've done it- But there's still a problem. The Bow. The ship's bow is a mess- was in Lightwave too. Other than gaining the skills needed to go in and rebuild the mesh, I have no idea how to fix it. If anyone else does, I'd appreciate being let in on the secret. The Klingon's disruptor burst is a lens flare added in photoshop elements and the background is a picture I saved from a magazine several years ago.

I think all it needs is to harden both the outer and inner edges of the portholes. I did a model of this, and ran into the same problem..;) Try that and see how it renders..a lot of renderers will try to smooth models, and that's where this happens..have fun, and great model. At least you got the eagle on the bottom..great work..

Well you know I like it. I know we are seeing the flash from the "near miss" but I think the space background should be sharper or clearer to see at the top (distance) then the space in the forground.
