Description

Personally I feel proud of this picture, I find wild butterfly pictures so hard to take, because they hardly ever land long enough for me to get to them and take a picture. However this one seemed perfectly happy to sit on a sprig of lavender in the sun for a little while so i snapped it just before it flew off again. I did some colour balancing on computer afterwards, just put a slight blue filter effect on it to enhance the purple of the lavender flowers and bring the foreground and background further apart and I think its a beautiful picture. Lovely shot ^_^ It sure pays off to look at the full size image ;P If you don't mind me saying that you might want to use a slight bit of sharpening say sharpen edges in photoshop ;) Other than that it's awesome! ;) THanks for sharing! hope you are having a great weekend! ;)

Great capture! and postwork! maybe you should have cropped a little at the right, because the butterfly is too centered in the image, IMHO of course! Bravo!!!!
