Oh and if you wish to raise the Awwww-factor even more, then i suggest you have a peek at it in full-size. I notice that it loses all the detail in the fur when being resized like this. #:o(

Thank you my best friend Zacko "Andreas The Pro" for that beauty post.. Guess what my firned.. I took a shot of that Beauty yesterday from the Detriot Zoo Park tho :)) and it will be added to the Sleeping Time Series ;) I love your shot and your quality as always.. Simple awesome framming made it superbe.. I hate the packed ones.. The contrast against the green and the beauty colour is wounderful.. So my vote and respect to you Andreas.. And dude!!! I will give you a visit for sure when i am totally healed.. You said you are in Canada eh! Oh, well.. It is about 30 mins from my house to windsor.. So smile.. maybe we can go shooting in the mountains or something if you have time bro.. Now have a lovey sunny sunday.. and hope to see you around.. Be ready for my post today :)

Andreas, as you know I'm a cat person so this has extra appeal. The natural setting contrasts with the delicate coloring and superb detail...the extra pixels really pay off. Anxious to see the additional shots my friend.

What a wonderful shot!!!!!!! And I am sure a joy to have seen. I still go and see the now almost grown Sumatran tigers at the Zoo here in Los Angeles. Beautiful colors in the cubs fur.

Amazing. Composition: Excellent. Its great to see there's someone that doesn't fill the entire frame with the subject. The space in front of the lion make me wonder what she's looking at. (also gives room for text).

Wow!! Andreas, what a wonderful shot!! And what a majestic animal!!! You really captured a sweet moment! The lions are magnificent!! We just got back from a trip to the zoo as well, and got terrific shots of tigers. But this is so unique!! I have never seen a lion like this!! We love mutants!! Just not the man-eating variety. ; ) Wonderful capture mate!
