Description
I intend to paint actual barrettes and brooches and the likes in real life, but I figured I would start out doing one digitally. This is a likeness to a Russian lacquered barrette, done 100% in Adobe Photoshop. Important reference was used. I hope to graduate soon to the point of using no reference. I think painting them by hand on tangible media will be somewhat easier.
