Description
Kobayashi Maru, nineteen periods out of Altair VI, we have struck a gravitic mine and have lost all power, our hull is penetrated and we have sustained many causalities. Our position is Gamma Hydra section 10 in the Neutral Zone, we are carrying a full load of Nuetronic fuel."
Captain Keane and his crew of cadets in the Yorktown arrived to find the 3rd class Neutronic fuel carrier surrounded by three Klingon Battlecruisers. He made contact with the Klingon commander of the lead ship and warned him off. Keane knew the Klingons would not let the carrier go without a fight. He ordered his helmsman to fire the main phasers at minimum strength, and to simultaneously release a probe with a high energy signature in the direction of the Kobayashi Maru.
